Compare Folders

Compare Folders is a utility designed for Mac OS X 10.4 or later with a host of unique and easy to use features that allow you to select two different folders and compare the contents to see what's the same, what's new, and what's different.

Underneath the clean Aqua interface lies a powerful comparison algorithm that checks each file against the contents of the other folder based on your criteria.

Found a file you want to know more about? Double click to open the file or open a Get Info window for a quick glance at all the facts. A couple of other available Item Actions include Reveal in Finder to open a new window with that item selected or the Item Inspector to fully edit an item's properties. You can even open files directly in Compare Folders using FilePeek!

Robust preferences allow you to customize your experience and how Compare Folders reacts. .Mac integration allows you to upload files to your iDisk or you can synchronize folders by copying new or changed items over appropriately.
